You've seen the reels, the photos, the drone shots over the river. But some stories don't fit in 60 seconds, and that's exactly why this blog exists. Consider this the extended cut — the place where I get to actually dig in.

For those just finding me: I'm Filmmaker Dave. I've been doing this since 2009, exploring mill towns, documenting industrial history, and trying to give the Blackstone Valley the attention it deserves. My business here in Rhode Island is officially called Run of the Mill — which, yeah, is a pun, but it's also exactly what I do. I explore mills. I tell their stories. I can't stop, and I don't want to.

There's a lot happening right now — personally and professionally — and this blog is part of me getting serious about building something bigger. A real community of people who care about these places as much as I do. Explorers, history nerds, locals, wanderers. All of you are welcome here.
